Continuous Improvement

APulsar’s culture of continuous improvement encourages each employee to work smarter and achieves increasing levels of efficiency and productivity. We use Quality Improvement Team (QIT) and Eight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D)

methodologies. To resolve problems, prevent issues, and constantly improve our business processes, all APulsar employees actively participate in the continual improvement process. By bringing together employees with diverse skills in regular work groups, APulsar is able to drive better, faster, and sustained continual improvement.

Robust Technology

APulsar provides a full spectrum of industrial networking, computing, and automation products for mission-critical applications. To cope with the often harsh conditions of these unconventional industrial environments, APulsar’s commitment to quality products begins from the moment they are conceived. Our quality assurance teams contribute to the very earliest planning stages of our new product development process by setting the engineering, hardware, and software testing plan of all proposed functions. These solid, tangible benchmarks are verified during the development process in a rigorous testing regimen, which includes Engineering-Tests (E-Tests), quality reliability tests, and Integration-Tests (I-Tests) to enhance reliability, minimize sustainment costs, and maximize product lifetime.

Project Lifecycle Management

APulsar uses a customer-centric project lifecycle approach based on IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) to manage projects. It aligns business and technical requirements through the following four phases of the project lifecycle—Engagement, Product Development, Product Production, and Service— and uses a corporate-wide Quality Management System, which takes into account feedback from inspections and audits to determine needed improvements and manage project lifecycles. APulsar has defined standardized processes for each phase to ensure that the highest quality standards are achieved, and to deliver robust, long-term quality to our clients.
